Welcome!

Winter Classes!

Jan 05

We’ve added our classes for this January to the schedule. Please call or email to register. Due to the calendar and holidays we are having a three week class schedule and will resume in February. Since we work on projects over several weeks we require that the same children attend a “session” but you are welcome to sign them up for as many sessions as you like.

Thanks!

Aug 20

This may have been our busiest summer yet at 2 Crafty Chicks!

We hosted close to 300 students at our day camps from ages 3-14! Each camp was a fun, creative experience and we hope to see each one of you back for one of our classes this school year.

2 Crafty Chicks will be closed from August 20th-September 11th (unless you have already booked a private party) for renovations. We are excited to be in the process of picking out new flooring and paint for the walls!

Due to all this change we are hesitant to post our fall schedule yet but plan to do so in the next couple of days–sorry if this is confusing!

Call or email with any questions and don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook for special deals and information.

We’ve made some changes in our birthday party themes! Please go to the birthday party section and see the additions. Remember we book parties 6-8 weeks in advance, if you would like to schedule one please contact us via email or phone to reserve your slot on the calendar!

General Information

Nov 29

Anna & Dede have been friends since they were children having both grown up in the Oak Grove/Sagamore Hills communities.

Anna graduated from Lakeside High School and has a BSW from The University of Georgia. and worked as a social worker for several years before opening a folk art gallery, Yellow Dog, in Oakhurst with her husband.

After several years Anna and Thomas decided to close their shop and focus on raising a family. She has two girls, Ramona & Corinne, who go to Fernbank Elemetary School.

Dede graduated from Woodward Academy and studied painting, drawing and graphic design at The University of Georgia and has a degree in Advertising.

After college they both began working at the Oak Grove Young Children’s School where they reconnected while teaching three and four year-olds and found a similar passion for art and teaching.

For several years they taught art camps and classes at various community centers and schools when finally, in 2005, they decided to build their own business and open an actual studio. They both have a shared love for glitter, making new things out of paper plates and trying new stuff!
